Frequently Asked Questions
I want to purchase a mountain bike from your online store. What’s involved in assembling the bike after it arrives?
All complete mountain bikes sold on our online store are preassembled, and tested before being shipped to our customer. You will need to install the front wheel assembly into the forks, install the seat post, mount the handle bars into the stem, install your pedals of choice and check the tire pressures. You will also need to set the sag of the front and rear suspension for your weight and riding conditions. If you are unsure of how to do any of the above, you can email or call us at (250) 871-RIDE.
Do you price match other advertised online prices?
We most certainly will. However please keep in mind that an online retailer in another country selling in a different currency may appear cheaper, especially if they don’t include the import duty(s) for Canada. For example, complete bicycles are subject to a 13% import tariff based on the converted value in Canadian funds.
If you feel it’s still a cheaper price, then lest us know. We will take the current exchange rate and convert the sale price of that item(s) into Canadian funds and sell it to you at that price.
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our online store, by email, by phone at (250) 871-RIDE.
Is your pricing in Canadian or USD?
Our web-store pricing is in Canadian funds. US customers will be charged in Canadian funds and can contact their credit card company in advance to find out the exchange rate they may be charged.
How do I pay for the products I want to order?
We accept Visa and MasterCard through our web-store via our payment processor Stripe. Foreign customers can purchase through bank transfer.
Do you ship outside of Canada?
Yes, we are currently set up to ship to the USA through our webstore. US customers should always contact their border agency to find out about any import fees that may be incurred, especially on complete bicycles crossing into the USA.
